you know i see all these people posting about how great palmdale is and save it and **** but every time i've gone its like a damn ghost town. there are like 20 cars at the most (and mostly SLOW *** **** running 17's). and definitely no 9 or 10 second cars. maybe you took your car there 5 years ago when it was prepped and it ran great but lately its sucked. if they are prepping it again then i guess its time to go check it out. but i can bet that nobody will be there again, we were running 12's with 2.1 60's letting off and it was the fastest out there every night i've gone.

you know what i agree, sometimes palmdale is crap, well pretty much all time. but that doesnt mean i dont go or try to adapt to the conditions the car asks for. i love watching or participating in racing when ever i have time. now, wed and fri even some sat every single week i dont know of anything local that does that.

as for you, its obvious you dont go nor do you need to. we wont miss you, but to the actual true drag racing guys, we will miss it. **** even on a bad day at palmdale i couldnt even get anything worse then a 1.75 60'.

just a note, i was cutting 1.58 and 1.57's all day. so let me ask you, if its still shitty like you say but you never go, i should be doing 1.38-.40 from your calculations right? that makes me feel good just thinking about that...

lacr is a great practice track, you wont pull your best times, but its much better than racing on the street and you can get 40+ runs in a night if you really wanted to.
its sad to see it go, but no one ever races and it would be foolish for them to keep putting it on when theyre losing money all the time.

okay who said i never go?? i have been going pretty much every few weeks up until last month and every time i went it was pretty empty... and if you would read what i said then you would see that i stated that i would have to take another trip out there to see if its any better now and that NOBODY EVER SHOWS UP.... . i mean come on there was a 13 second rx-7 almost nailing the wall on every pass because it had no traction and thats making minimal power. doesnt sound too safe to me. and i don't know what car you have but the 10 or so times i've been in the last 5 months there hasnt been anyone even remotely fast. like i said MAYBE 20 cars... i keep hearing everyone saying that they want to keep Palmdale. one way would be for people who do all the talking to actually take there cars there and run them!! and if they prepped the track then i would go more often too. but like i said its more times than not now that the track isn't prepped. its not a 5 min drive for me and to drive an hour and a half out there and then have the track be unprepped really sucks.. when i can go to irwindale and know that i'm going to hook. believe me i go to whatever track is open but whats the point if its not prepped...... thats funny that you say you are a "true drag racing guy" but i'm not. i've been doing this a whole lot longer than you think. so go on and fight to keep palmdale you "true drag racer" this is so ****** retarded.

yeah its open often but its still empty...... and yes i have been but not for about 2 months maybe. so if the track is better now i'll prob go and run it. and no **** race cars arent cheap (doesnt have to be a racecar), i'm not saying that you have to run 10's to go but i don't see anybody that does all the talking on here taking anything out there!! Irwindale is PACKED and if LACR was so great then why arent there more people there????? its a little bit of a drive but an hour and a half for me would be well worth it if the track was prepped and safe. like i said i'll try it out one more time but i'd still rather just see it either rebuilt somewhere else or just let it die.....

The track is no good for all motor cars only works for big power turbo cars that have good drivers.

hey dont take it to heart, mister h22 guy, you dont want it there and thats your opinion. but any body knows more tracks the better. you actually want the track closed.

i never asked you how long you did it for, like i said does it matter?

question: what is your definition of hooking?

well my definition definitely isnt a 2.1 60'. i just want to have a track thats actaully worth going to. and like all of the news about palmdale says they've already made up their mind to close it. whatever i'm sick of going back and forth with you.... go ahead and try to save something thats already halfway closed. theres only so many times i can tell you to go and read what i wrote before i give up on you ever comprehending what i'm saying. if they don't tear it down they will prob have to close anyway because nobody goes there anymore...............
