h22 h2b or K swap??
i been searching and now i need some opinions. i was planning to get an h22 with the adapter plate to use the b series tranny. the tranny i'm planning to use is a itr with the 4.7 final drive. the motor will be a stock block, just a valvetrain upgrade and bolt ons. my goal is to hit mid to high 12's. but now after looking at everything, it seems like i rather swap a k20 and do similiar mods to it.
would it be worth it to use the h22?? since a lot of people dont use the h22 i was planning to try it out
o yeah this will be in a cx EG, and i do plan on gutting it out. thanks

agreed.
not trying to be an *** , but seriously there is so much info on both setups if you just search for it.
H2B- less expensive then a k- not as much aftermarket support but is a great swap
K- has most potential but your also talking about a boatload more cash

Re: h22 h2b or K swap?? (jjspec)
i have about 2300$ in my whole swap (tranny, engine, h2b kit) h2b ftw... my car started as a 00 SI so i had mounts and axles to start with, didnt have to replace any of that
edit.. and for what its worth, my full interior SI runs neck and neck with my buddies gutted 98 hatch that has a k24a TSX swap with kpro and boltons.
