cool beans.

The charge pipe has that ugly bend by the tb. Any ideas on why it wouldn't be designed to run farther to the right of the car then curve around more gradually to the tb instead of just a 90 degree bend?

i dont think that really matters, 40+ psi of boost will find its way to the manifold with no problem no matter how a pipe is bent inbetween the turbo and TB

No? I would think little details like that could make all the difference if it came down to .01 sec end... sorry, but I try to pay attention to detail

even though he is running methanol i dont see a reason why he isnt running an intercooler. the methonal dosent cool it down that much. what im tryin to say is that he would probably benifit from having an intecooler.

There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with that charge pipe. Every bend is smooth and it's not cheating the radius anywhere. That's what would hurt it.
Besides it's pressurized and like turbodandee said "it will find it's way"

that would just be an extra volume of space for the turbo to have to pressurize.

intercooler or non-intercooled - air density wars!

Kenny - 900-1000 whp, 172 mph trap..... intercooled / methanol
Bruce - 900-1000 whp, 170 mph trap.....intercooled / ethanol / nawwws
JoJo - 900-1000 whp, 170?? mph trap......intercooled / methanol
Gary - 900-1000 whp, 169.9 mph trap...... non IC / methanol

Lingenfelter - 1187 crank hp, 197 mph trap (pro car) intercooled /gas (??)
figured id toss that in there.

of course there are plenty of variables other than listed.... but all seem to be running pretty good, haha

I would think that once you heated the air, it would lose some density that could not be regained... but what the hell do I know my car only runs 10's haha

Yea, pretty much hidden. I don't think he has room up front to mount it anyways.

Looks bad a$$ though. Can't wait to see what it runs.

Yes. also, kenny's is running theirs sideways and i like how myle's is running his infront facing down. i guess there's too much accesories up front and no room for radiators.

can anyone else elaborate on this?

Damn what size t/b do you think he is running?? Those are some huge *** charge pipes and it doesn't seem to change in size where it meets the t/b. I know those edlebrock manifolds have a lot of meat to take off for matching the t/b but I didnt know it had that much room. Nice work.
