Here's something I saw I thought it could sum up most of which racing is about. Instead of crying all the damn time.

I will post a separate thread to announce and collect deposits today. Before do so, I just want to make sure we are all on the same page... Buy-in is $500... non-refundable deposit is $300, $200 balance to be paid at event in cash. Those on the list are asked to make deposit within 72 hrs if using paypal, and by Monday, Feb 6th if mailing a check. If we do not get at least 12 deposits by Feb 6th, the gamblers class is off. Racers from far away are depending on a big pot and must make plans way in advance.
For those who do not make deposit by Feb 6th, buy-in is $600... just to make it fair for those who deposit on time. The extra $100 will still go into the pot. I will add at least $1k into the post myself if get at least 12 deposit by Feb 6th. Payout distribution will be 60% to winner, 30% to r/u, 10% to semis.
Agreed rules are IFO FWD rules, but allow 26" tires and there will be a 2400 lb weight limit.
As of now it is only a one day event, but gates will open way early and there is no threat of cancellation due to low temps since in May. I'm still waiting to hear from the track if we can do some qualifying during their Saturday event. If we can, there will be 2 qualifying rounds on Saturday.
Am I forgetting anything?
