Default full blown dual pump fuel gauge problem help!!!!

i purchased a full blown dual pump kit and i installed it into my ek hatch wired it up to a relay and fuse everything thing works fine but my fuel gauge doesn't work anymore.... anyone know why this would happen or has this happened to any one?!?!?!

i used the search to find out if anyone had this problem but couldn't find anything, please help need this fixed

Did you check the connector for the fuel level sensor? You might of accidentally unplugged it. The oem sensor is separate from the fuel level sensor.

its connected my friend with an eg is having the same problem.... ill call tomorrow i think i know what it could be

Im sure you guys did the wiring wrong. My hanger has worked perfect for 3 years...

That's what I'm guessing but I think the way I have it is the only way to do it, can you please pm me or post here how you wired up the pump

did you use 1 relay or 2.... i did it with 2 mabe that could effect sumthing..... ima goign to open the floter side and see if mabe the floater is stuck or sumthing....

I have a problem with my fuel gauge. It works but as soon as it gets under half a tank the car runs like if the tank was empty

that sounds like ur filter has come loose... maybe, rem ur filter helps pick up fuel from the very bottom

so am i on the factory wires how did u split them, i spliced the wire and conected two wires from each cable, and wired it the same... i dont understand how this is happeneing.... i have it wired just like u said in the picture, how fustrating

what amp fuse would you recomend? 20 amp? 30 amp?

i used a 40amp relay an the fuse is a 30.
