fuel system ideas, input needed
hey how u guys doing, has anyone tried the dual walbro set up ran into two bosch 044s or if not one bosch 044 inline pump? i mean i know the dual walbros should be pretty decent but reason i ask is if im going to tun e85 and wanna make great power i should be able to run this set up no problem,
2 044 and 2 walbros also? By the time you do that and plumb it you could easily do a nice single pump setup that can support it alone. How much power? I know my aeromotive pro pump without a voltage booster supports 850 with id2000's on eth
well honestly i just think 850 will be enough for my needs until i require some more room to run, but im just asking to know if its possible and worth doing
2 walbros feeding 2 o44's will work just fine. We run this same setup in our 2jz s14 on e85. Car make around 650 @26psi with id1000's on a stock head with a 6768hpq billet. We still have a lot more left in the car. that setup will do over 1200whp on e85. There are a few draw backs. It takes a lot of current to run all of the pumps, 3 relays, a lot of wiring, 1 walbro can take out an 044 if it runs dry. But since you take the pressure off the walbros, they are a lot less likely to fail. The only reason the we run it like this is because on an s14, it has a plastic fuel tank behind the rear set and you cant sump it plus we have a battery and a few other things in the trunk so we cant run a cell. It will work just fine but if you can run just the 044's, do it. Hope this helps
