13's in a FWD car would require insane whp
Insane whp is in the 600+ range. Active's ITR is gutted to all hell last time I checked and he's running open header. He should be running 14.7s stock, so 13s don't take much when you weigh as much as a civic and forget about being street legal.

So there you have it. A 13.8 1/4mi with a grand total of $440 bucks in performance mods.
That is just downright awesome. What does your car weigh though?

With cold weather and some tuning I'm seeing mid 13's.
Watch it JUNIOR!!!!!!!!! J/J Good luck to you anyway.

That is great but there has to be more to this story. You gained almost a full second by adding an intake and header and removing your exhaust?? There just isn't that much to be gained on a stock motor. And 2.0 60ft on regular street tires? Not likely... You must be the best driver in the whole world. How much horsepower do you think you gained? Stock itr's are 165 at the wheels right? It would take at least 190 whp to get the time you claim. There is something you are not mentioning here. Please tell us cause that time is just too good.

That's exactly what I mean. There is something missing here. The car had to be cut in half to run that time w/ those mods on so-3 tires.

I ran a 13.9 in my GSR, stock GSR gearing, full body, full interior, full tank of gas, on a stock GSR bottom end, street tires (Dunlop SP8000's), with a full exhaust (Toda header, Apexi Dunk 60mm catback) system in place.....except for a straight pipe.

Running that JDM DC open header will help a lot with top end....

Anyway, nice times.

Now gsr's run 13's with just exhaust??? What is done to your head? What planet are you two from? What's a gsr weigh like 2800 lbs with driver and comes with 170 fly hp. Throw an exhaust on there and it becomes a real monster. C'mon don't make it sound so easy. It's not.

Well, like I said a few posts up those were my set-ups. Yeah I may have headwork, cams, ECU tuning etc.... but what I mentioned above is true.

After the fact, he mentions headwork and a computer. Even w/ that its hard to believe. I've followed the fwd honda drag thing for a while. These 13 sec time slips on a full 2dr chassis, on stock blocks can only be seen w/ slicks and a good amount of NOS.

Next time say something like, transplanting the motor into a gutted hatch and setting it on slicks and I'll beleive it...

non-believers. Yeah I even have the timeslips from E-town to prove it. I ran that 13.9 all motor with street tires. There is also a GSR owner on this board (Evil GSR)who is pretty much stock also and he runs 14.0's with slicks.

No I believe you but when you just throw out a post in the context of this post you really should post eveything that contributes to your timeslip.

I believe you 100% !
I ran 13.9 twice with a 2001 ITR and the only mods I had were: P/S belt remouved, Spare+Jack remouved, 18 BTDC timming and 205/50-15 DOT toyo's RA1. Full Interior, exhaust conected etc.

On preludeonline we have members running high 13s with a 50 shot on street tires. This is in a heavy *** prelude too. Getting one to hook up on street tires is a chore in and of itself.

Well, not everyone who runs fast "needs" to share what mods he's done to run fast.... sometimes, the right combo of mods, dyno tuning, and driving skill can make for very fast times.

Anyway......like I said before
I ran a 13.9 in my GSR, stock GSR gearing, full body, full interior, full tank of gas, on a stock GSR bottom end, street tires (Dunlop SP8000's), with a full exhaust (Toda header, Apexi Dunk 60mm catback) system in place.....except for a straight pipe.

I've done some other work as well...

Ok I already posted this for the ITR guys to see, but I'm pretty happy about it and figured not everyone will see it there. If this is not proper and needs to be deleted that is fine.

From ITR forum:

Finally got it to the track with the new header. Track temp was 72 degrees.
60'.....2.055 ( SO-3 power baby)
1/8....8.910@79.65mph
1/4...13.837@99.23mph

Backed up by a 13.954@98.68mph
Let a friend drive the car and he also pulled a 13.908@99.68mph which was the best trap of the night.

So there you have it. A 13.8 1/4mi with a grand total of $440 bucks in performance mods.

With cold weather and some tuning I'm seeing mid 13's.
Next I will here 2K civic SI's running mid 14's with similar mods. And you say next comes mid 13's with just tuning? Just come clean, what else is done to your car?

How did I miss all of this . Come clean...ok no prob just revert to the first post.

There are several Honda-Tech members that were actually there to see it run and know exactly what my car has done. There are a few more in the ATL that know my car as well.

Here is everything I had done.
1. AEM CAI (sort of rigged up after bypass valve broke)
2. JDM DC header with no exhaust.
3. No PS belt.
4. Removed passenger seat and spare tire (not stripped to the bone all panels and carpet are in)
5. Missing cigarette lighter.
6. Cell phone and pack of little debbie cakes on the floor beside me.
7. I weigh 173lbs.
8. Pulled 2.05 60' on SO-3's. Yeah I know thats a hell of a launch but I know my car and have a ton of runs under my belt (over 120 easy).
9. My car with just intake, stock header, exhaust hooked up, and a passenger hit a 14.3@97mph.
10. Without passenger and open exhuast (still on stock header) I laid down a 14.03@99.35mph on a 50 degree night.

Guess I'll have to post my old 14.03 video up. http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/we...MxeTU0MQ%3D%3D

There is the F word at the end of the vid. You can hear some of the guys freak when they see my time because I had been running against stupid X cars (hides the times) so they had no clue.

Nice work Active.. I beleive your quoted times are possible... because I've ran multiple 13.50's in my EM1 with a simple stock internally ITR swap w/ only AEM CAI, Apexi WS exhaust and a Exedy clutch to handle the crazy 8K drops..

For all you haters! https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=929770 lol
