Default FF Burnout

One thing I have never known much about is how the axles/differentials worked. When I was up at the tuner drag night I noticed that some of the front wheel drive cars while burning out one wheel would burnout first and then later the 2nd. I hope this doesnt sound confusing.

I sound like a noob but i never understood that. But anywasy does that have somnething to do with the differentials?

its the differential, most honda's(or ff cars for that matter) do not have lsd (limited slip differential)'s so the primary drive usually spins before the other side.

Well even with an LSD there is still slip but its very minimal. Otherwise, turning the car with a locked diff in a FWD car would be a complete pain in the ***. That's why the diffs are setup like that, to allow one wheel to spin faster than the other while making a turn.

I thought it might of had something to do with not having LSD too. But I wasnt sure about that. Thanks a bunch.
