it seems like you guys can read..this is from the rule book!!!!!
Transmissions
FWD - Any transmission allowed. Manufacturer of transmission must match
manufacturer of engine as to not be assessed an additional weight penalty. Standard
transmissions must retain factory H-pattern. Standard transmissions must also allow
downshifting. Air shifters are illegal. Vertical-shift-gate and aftermarket-sequential
transmissions are subject to a weight penalty.
</TD></TR></TABLE>
I could be wrong but I believe that is for the classes like Hot Rod, SFWD, A/M, etc. For brackets and Q16 I'm sure that rule doesn't apply.
You can PM Brian Ballard XXXracing and ask him. He will either know or can tell you who to contact. I have contacted NHRA Tech threw email and have gotten quick replies. You may want to ask them.

Re: From Puerto Rico (GRS Motorsports)
Listen, just bring the FWD turbo VW out and have a good time. Try and qualify for Quick 16 and if you don't make it, run brackets. Sequential shifter or not...you are legal for both classes down here. It's sort of an outlaw type deal in Q16 where almost anything goes except delay boxes and things like that. Run your stuff, run it hard..and have fun. Raceway Park and the racers have open arms

Thank God
When are the rules going to be posted for SRWD?
Also, is qualifying going to be on Sat for the other classes, or on Sun? I hope its a 1 day event for the other classes.

Re: (XXXRacing)
Street Stock is drag radial only! I called to verify and he said the rules are the rules and thats how we are doing it. Maybe if enough people call we can get slicks? Just a thought
