We are running the ATI dampner along with Peterson Fluid Systems Dry Sump on our Prelude this year. Started the car up yesterday and should be to the track within a week.

I just saw the new STreet Fluidampr and it is really nice. not as bulky as the ati and allows for better clearance on a CRX.

We will be posting many pics on here in about one week. The peterson Dry Sump system is extremely high quality parts. I recomend them highly.

Will The ATI dampner have any problems clearing the z 10 traction bars on the civic si coupe?

My ati wouldnt clear my z10 radius arm on my crx. Z10 fabbed me a custom set of mounts to lower the mounting point on my controll arm.
Heres a pic before the mod, to close for comfort.

I think Rob is talking about the Engine dampner rather than a Harmonic dampner. Even tho the thread should have been Crank Harmonic dampner.

Here is a link of how to install the Fluidamper. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=825059

yeah, i was refering to the crank harmonic dampner...the "engine strut" is what i was talking about...

i still think the dampner might be overkill for 99% of ppl.....but if I can see some PROOF, sitting in front of me, then I'll be sold..... I'm an easy guy to convince once proof is shown......

but, i will say this, i think the ATI unit is uber bling...and if I do happen to have the cash laying around here soon....i might just toss one on my engine, since it's a true street car build..and anything to help it last might be worth a little green.........we'll see

Im using the Fluidampr purchased from no other than Arturbo himself. Im liking it and I am relying on the factory crank being balanced well (fingers crossed when Im at 10k rpm).

Also remember guys. Most classes now require an SFI approved balancer for drag cars running 11.99 and faster. I think its 11.99 anyways.

last i read it was 10.99

I am waiting for TCI to come out with the Rattler for Hondas, not a fan of the fluidamper

Oh, maybe thats what it was. Thats why i needed it

FYI. We just put a TCI Rattler on our Supra. What a pos it is. Nothing inscribed on it, no installation instructions, no SFI sticker included with the package and not inscribed on it (Fluidampr comes inscribed and a seperate sticker). Overall, we were very unimpressed. I dont know how the honda will be, but I would think that it would be similiar.
