Holy Cow man! I definitely recommend some fire protection. A 5lb Halon or Halotron fire extinguisher is a good investment, probably around $150 and its a clean agent. Your Typical dry chemical agent pretty much crusts and chokes out the fire but it very corrosive when exposed to moisture (even that in the air). For around $20 you can also get a heavy duty mount that will not allow it to dislodge. Sorry to see it, its such a sweet car! Best of luck.

Really sad to hear this , we know you'll bounce back .
Had this same issue happen a few years back , wasnt mine but I was in the other lane (red Eg). Thank god I had a fire extinguisher . I was able to save the guys car . Fire was out of hand and the fire crew took their sweet *** time but I was to put it out . Someone got a short clip of it . Ever since I always carry an extinguisher just in case .
We look forward to you coming back

You know it Ricky. I feel the same way about it. Ask my wife- LOL.
I put a positive swing on it. I tell everyone that I put everything I earn into the bank. My wife calls the KMOD RSX the bank for this reason. LOL

Last year I had a fire on my WRX, grabbed the Halon extinguisher from my Prelude, and had it out right away. Got home after work, and I was able to assess the damage right away since there was no mess or corrosion, and get the harness fixed and new injector o-rings, and she was back up and running.

Addiction to speed it's the best and the worst. But there is nothing better then the friendships that form from that addiction and the help and support they will give to help feed that addiction to one another.
