how many years are they good for

 

1,3, & 5 Layer suits do not have an expiration date or a recertification period.

SFI tag numbers: 3.2A/1, 3.2A/3, 3.2A/5

10,15, & 20 Layer suits expire every 5 years but can be recertified by the manufacturer.

SFI tag numbers: 3.2A/10, 3.2A/15, 3.2A/20

Most guys are using a 5 layer suit.

the only reason i ask is because i havent ran since 2010, and the track said something about an experation date so it might have been my helmet and not the suit

 

Cool, Very well might have been the helmet.

Snell M2000 Helmets expired at the first of this year.

I have a really nice custom painted helmet that’s a paper weight now! LOL

Do you plan on getting the new suite required by NHRA for cars running a fuel with a ethanol percentage greater then 10? I know it's the same as the methanol fuel guys run, but I'm new to actually getting safety stuff so I can't remember which one it it.

 

the first track i go to that requires that bullshit NHRA ***** *** rule for a pump gas fuel well ill go to a differant fuel

 

Whats the ruel with fire jackets and such, are they required at a certain ET/MPH?
