set the tires to 9.5, and by the time i got to the line like 30 - 45 mins later, it was 9.0. on the 2 hour ride home it was nearly flat from 20 psi. but like i said, i am happy and dont think it is anyones fault. i am going to pull it off tonight take it to work tomorrow and check it. i may have spun it. they arent pinned.

but thanks again!

your customer service is top notch, I want to express my thanks again for the help you gave us last season. We plan to continue running the M&H Racemaster's this season as well. Our 60' times were not as good as they could have been, but our last few runs they were getting better as we dialed in the suspension. For the first time all season we actualy didnt get any tire spin off the line at the IDRC finals in palmdale durring qualifying, its just too bad the motor let go at the 1000ft mark...

Thank You for the kind words Mike. The 60ty will happen and soon.

ok, well i finally got to test the slicks out. I drive an Integra type R that weighed in at 2400lbs tonight. first, they are 24.5x8.5x15 on Bogarts.I make 210whp (maybe 15-20whp less until i get my header back from SMSP Dave) and 141ft-lbs (again, maybe less).they were a good deal so thats why i got this slick and not a 23x7.5x15

I may however get some soon though.

anywho...

Started out with 10 psi and no 2 step because i only had a 6000 pill and needed higher. pulled a 2.049 then 2.104

got a 7000 pill and launched it and bogged. ran 2.146

put in 11psi, still bogged and ran 2.047

put in 12psi, better launch, spun then bogged a little and ran a 1.984

put in 12.5psi and bogged and ran 2.037.

tips, questions?any info is appreciated.

-Francisco

Hi Francisco: Too big of a slicks, you need to get the M&H 8.5/23-15.

Haven't run my M&Hs this year yet. But I let D-Rob run them on one of the days we went to the track.

He cut mid- to low- 1.9 60's in his LS-VTEC EK coupe. Ended up going 13.17 @ 104. 60's would have been better but he was bogging off of the line quite a bit.

I also let my brother's friend run them on his turbo'd EG hatch. He was cutting mid 1.7s all day long. And after the guys at my brother's shop saw them in use... they are all hooked on M&Hs and I ended up getting you a few more buys probably. LOL.

Thanks, John.

Hey John... How's life there in HOT Bakersfield? Santa Maria is getting up there but cooling off during the evenings...

Anyhow, it was nice seeing you at SAC, and we should be going out to FAMOSO, but it keeps getting cancelled, so when that starts back up, we'll see you every two weeks.

You know that we back the M&H Slicks all the way. That is all we race on!!!

By the way, we got our shop (FINALLY). So we are getting settled in. As soon as we are settled, we will be purchasing more slicks from you.

You take care okay...

Love,
Jenn

Hi Honda Bull : SORRRRRRY I missed your post. When you bogg down like that, put some more air pressure in the slicks to see if that helps you out.

LOL 1.7s are good he should be proud of that, let me know if your friends need slicks. Alot of TIIIIIIIIIME alot of hours and Days go into R and D. I do have slicks that are coming that are better and give you more bite. You will have to wait and see.

1.40 60' times in this picture. I will be in the 1.3's soon. This weekend I went 1.40, 1.41 and (2) 1.42's. John, do you think rim screws will help control an even wrinkle?

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW That baby is hooking up. If the slicks are moving on the bead of the wheel, then put screws in and that will help you drop your 60ty down and you will have more wrinkle.

You can kinda see it in this pic as well. I am going to put screws in it for testing. This is launching at 8000 RPM! I want to be in the low 1.3's before years end! Thanks for the great tire John.
PS, we may need a new set soon.....
