Hey guys, I had a question reguarding the registration on a track only [drag] registration? Those of you with a drag car, is it registered like a normal street car, or do you have it registered specifically as a drag/show car? I'm buying another EF and its going to only see the track. A guy I work with was saying they make registrations specifically for race cars or show cars, since they wont see street driving. I searched and found only JDM and RHD registration questions. Just wondering what everyone else is doing for that?

ps - This is in Cali, I plan to call the DMV tomarrow, but was hoping someone on here had some insight into this. Also reguarding insuring the car, is this necessary for certain tracks? TIA for any replies - SA

 

mine has been a "non operation" since 99. I think I paid 50 bucks a year or something.
