Which Drag Radials to go with...
I'm wondering, which tires do you guys think I should get? I bought a different pair of wheels to use mainly for the track but I would also like to sometimes drive these tires on the street.
Nitto 555R 275/40/17 - Treadwear 100, more streetable, good in rain, seen some of these tires chunk up (not many)
BF Goodrich 275/40/17 - Treadwear 60, wears down kinda quickly but better launches and a little cheaper in price ($15 less per tire)
I would like to add I borrowed a pair of BFGs this weekend from a friend, they're completely bald but with 4.30 gearing I was launching at 3800 if I was dropping and 4500 feathering, I was getting 1.90-1.95 60's. I have no clue if Nittos are about the same but I know they last alot longer.

In short, BFG's are the ****. Absolutely no comparison the the Nittos. If you want a longer lasting tire, might as well go with the Azenis which is cheaper.

BFG's!!! hook way better than the 555r's
may wear quicker but hook way better
if you are gonna drive your car in the rain just get a pair of some rain/drive around tires or something so that way you don't wear the tread down as quick and you don't need to worry about the rain

that number really depends on the burnouts you do
I believe the Tread wear is about HALF of the nitto 555r's i'll check on saturday the exact ratings of both(I work at Just tires)
EDIT: Lol nm the tread wear is in the first post... well you can see about half the life of 555r's
