cryotreating syncros?

Default cryotreating syncros?

just wondering if anyone tried this yet?

i just had 3rd gear go on me last night, and im gtting sick of replacing these things. this is the 5th time im replacing syncros.

anyone have any insight on if this works?

I crynoed the whole tranny and have good luck with it.

I'm gonna try that on my next tranny...Hey hybrid901,was the tranny complete or broken down when you did it??

It was complete and we just replaced the seals in it afterwards.

where did you get the cryo done at? and how much ?

do you race tha car? thats the only real way i can tell if they will hold up or not.

We get the cryoing done local. I think its 150-175. Yes I race the car launching at 8000rpm on 25" slicks.

just had to make sure. lol.alot of people say they hav no probs on their set ups, but never drive them hard.

My custom tranny's internal parts and even the Quaife LSD is cryo treated. Feels very crisp and loving it.

How the hell do I find them? A google search and a forum search yeild jack ****. Do you have a number? Do these guys sell just synchros, or only whole transmissions like gear-speed?

I don't necessarily need a cryo company link, I know of many of those. I am specifically looking for a contact number for Liberty Transmissions. I have heard many people mention them, but they are nowhere to be found...

What is the purpose of cryotreating? Just makes it stronger? I have a 3rd gear grind, would cryotreating fix the problem or is it something that just prevents it from happening?

we've Cryo'd all of our trannys, and have had good luck with it.

i seem to be fine with the cassings and gears and LSD, its just tthe snycros them selves that are driving me nuts.

cryo wont help your grinding tranny. you need to replace the parts that are messed up to fix that.
