I personally don't think that NHRA should make a ruling on this based on ONE race...and I don't think they will. That was the best racing ever so why screw it up? I would be concentrating on what we need to do to keep those cars coming to every race.

Efantis make noise about something? Oh there is a friggin suprise. I don't know him at all...so it may be unfair in saying this but from a fan's perspective I am glad to see them get their asses handed to them after all the commotion they cause. They have pulled the wool over other racers plenty of times...and now they got dealt with in a fair showdown

As for the topic of this post...not suprising coming from misfertech. You always have something smart to say A civilized topic for discussion purposes would be out of your class right?

What a great show!

HotRod and Modified are the best 2 classes to watch right now
Pro is almost dead...

On my Topic to be fair
Justin denies he or Paul requested the inspections
all NHRA's doing.......Justin actually registered and Posted on our forum
Thats real cool of him He thinks there pretty even in times
and sees no need for any "major" changes
Paul ran 52mm and still ran good and He is able to run 54MM which
he has proven can run 7.3's right there with the best of um.....

so my apologies to J&P

a rational post?! way to man up.

the PR cars were amazing. like someone said before these cars are just as high quality as you would expect a car running that fast should be. i didnt get to see under the hood or underneath the car but the cockpit was top notch. im also curious to know are they still using the complete steel body? i know la atrevida has a one peice front end but the others had what looked to be the original sheet metal including headlights, sidemarkers, one even had an antenna!!

After taking a closer look at the PR cars this weekend I was really impressed on all the high quality work done to those cars they have alot more than $40k invested in them dont let those cars fool you. I love watching them go down the track and also love all the the rubber they lay down for us before we run.

When there was way more a few years ago
Abel/Bullish/Summit Racing/AEM/Venom/ so so on
and in Nopi no imports attend

Maybe it will turn around
like it has this year in Modifed and in HotRod
we'll see

i would hate to see prorwd go the way of the dodo bird!!! but thats one of the most expensive classes out there.

My favorite classes personally are the Modified and HotRod classes. Justins cars is effin fast but he has to battle weight issues, that thing is a pig! i wouldnt like to see the class slowed down, so i suggest a bigger turbo size. Nhra has messed around enough with this class over the last year a bit. now that they know what the cars need to be truly competitive, adjust the rule to even everything up. Hell they pulled the turbo back last year after Vegas...bump them back up!

but what do i know...i dont make the rules

I know hes been talking about it, and measuring, but as someone whos also done mock up for a 2G RWD with the motor turned its super tight hes going to need new manifolds and make a good bit of changes. I love to see him out there but the cost with very lil sponcership, and besides who wants to run a 6.80 car

My 0.02

Sakura was running 7s with a 4 cyl 10 years ago.

Puerto Rico is the grandfather of the sport compact, they been running faster than many USA cars for a long time.

Puerto Rico been only a small island 100x30 has done a great job in racing period.

I'm not sure what was all the fuss, all of those cars are NHRA cert, so why the extra tech ?

The white Rx7 is 200 pnds over in that class.

Those guys did a great job, they got everyones blood pump therefore the event in general was great.

We all know what needs to be done to get the sport back on track, together we can do it, lets do it guys!

Lazcanos RX7:

Weights 2189
No adjustable clutch
Smaller TURBO than DEE

So what's the fuss about, Justin & Paul cars are capable of 7.2, the lexus & solara already trapped +185mph as Lazcanos RX7.

To me the class is fair for everyone, they just need to shut up a drive better and try to be more consistent, again look at Lazcano's he hasn't gone 7.3, but runs 7.4 all day, consistency is the name of the game, they can run 6.9 and still loose the Championship.

I would bet that there will not be a combined ProFWD/Modified class next year. I am almost sure that they are going to remain separate classes. I would also bet that those two classes might have a bump spot at every race next year.

With ProRWD now reaching into the mid 6's without a problem, I don't see an issue with modified cars running back into the low 7's. I think that this tech was just for data so that the NHRA can figure out what all the cars are running. This is one of the few classes with such a large level of diversity right now so it is hard to make rules when you don't know what they are using.

Why is it such a big deal that these cars came over to race.Yeah i know it fucked things up from a points perspective. But what if these cars were just local cars or cars that people had built and finally brought out to race??
