Corner balancing question
I am playing around with my scales again and wanted to see if the cross weight should be 50 / 50 on a drag car? I have 65% of my weight up front and 35% in the rear. My RF/LR is 51.8%.
From what ive seen on the pro cars we try to have as much weight up front. and try to keep side to side even as stated above. The older pro car was i believe 85 percent front weight.

in my opinion this is all that counts as well. the rear will only differ within 100lbs, from what ive noticed with the fwd cars ive balanced.
corner balancing is one of the funnest things to do to me

it helps tremendously and it helps the car go straight off the line, equalize (if thats a word) the traction between the two front tires during launch so it lowers your 60fts, helps with stability somewhat as well.
when you do corner balance your car, put the slicks with the amount of air your going to run them at, at least somehwere in the ball park.
with this, comes toe in/out (out in our case), camber...

Well I just got back in after playing around all night. I was about half way through balancing it and then I decided I was going to lower the back about another inch and the front about 1/2 inch to lower the CG. So I had to start all over again. My front left is 40lbs heavier then the right and my rear is alot closer. I took all the weight out of my car for this weekend but when I put it back in, the right will be a lot closer. I also did a 50/50 cross weight. Going to get it aligned tomorrow and see if it helps my 60 foot at all this weekend.
