The CSS process does not include finish machine work. So yes, it would have to be decked.

The CSS does not replace the sleeves so you can only go to the maximum bore of stock sleeves.

There are a couple 9sec 82mm B18's out there with the CSS.

is it just the top portion of the sleeve thats supported? or is it an insert that goes the whole length of the sleeve?

Can you take your first pic and point out whats stock and whats not?

??? The support ring is only at the top and the ring is the defined square piece at the top of the water passage.

hear some picks of my friends coupe b-seriesdelslo with the cncwerx css. it made 600 on a mustang dyno 28psi on a precision 67mm cast wheel running out of pump on e85 .tuned by chad from noribilt , track times coming soon...

4years, over 100 motors done and ZERO customer failures to date including all series blocks and the car making between 650-800hp.

I know TDC Performance has a Dseries customer running over 500 and it been almost a year now. Other than that no real info to report on max numbers.

Have the CSS on a new sc set up we are working on and it's handling right about 300 foot pounds of trq at 3500 rpm all day! This is on a dd with no heat issues what so ever.
