cmi spring jam on April 2nd and 3rd (roll call) and format discussion!
Sup guys the time is getting near and we are opening up disscussion to see if we are going to run the old format with 12.0 index or heads up classes? Super street and street stock will be separated from all motor & boost classes being that its not winter warm up and there will be enough people to fill the classes. there were some small mistakes in the princing for the jan. event and it was actually less expensive at the door than was posted. this event is sat and sun and will be alot of new cars out! we will make another post for all the rules and prices coming up soon we just wanted to see what everyone wanted to do! ther will not be any slick size restrictions or handicaps due to the huge turnout we recieved for winter warm up! Tony will be making the flyer this week so if you would like to represent your team or shop you need to e-mail pics at 400 dpi or better to tony i will post the address later today, i dont want to make a mistake on the e-mail address. good luck with your cars and god bless!

Let's make sure the rules are clear this time (chassis/engine restrictions & requirements).

What's wrong with the old rules of CMI? Quick8, Allmotor, then brackets....

Re: (turtle-eg)
Quick 8 and fast 8 classes will still be the same and brackets, rwd all will stay the same but we are looking to bring the old style of heads up back to the table. who would rather race a index class rather than heads up! thats what were trying to find out. The bracket classes are a concern too because alot of the racers are tired of losing to a automatic toyota or the guys who race the sportsman series who cut 500 lights all day! were are just looking to make sure there are some new names collecting trophy's at the end of the day in these classes!

So basically an index class would be like cars running 11and faster in one class, 11s to 12s in one class, and etc...? If so, that may be cool, it gives the "not so fast and not so slow" guys a chance to compete.
