Default CD ignition?

Hi.
I am wondering which ignition to choose - Msd or Crane or other CDI unit? I am building H series engine and i am going to boost it over 35psi of boost.
Msd are well know but they state spark energy for a single spark is 100-300mj. The crane units have sequence with 1200mj energy. After certain rpm both units switch to single spark mode. For Msd it is 100-300mj. I sent an email to crane to ask them what will happen at high rpm when it switches to a single spark mode? They told me that the single spark energy then will be 1200mj.
What would you advice me? Is Crane better than msd in single spark mode?
Thank you in advance.

I would say Crane over msd... but some people seem to have luck with their msd. Crane is definitely better quality though.

Mallory is also another good option

M&W is very good but expensive

You can pick up a used M&W pro 10 with a msd hvc II or crane coil on here for pretty cheap usually. I got mine for right at $500.

I know that all are good brands but crane sad me, 1100mJ at single spark mode. This mean that every crane unit is more powerful than any other at single spark model. Is that true?
