Its looks like the CM Integra took quite a hit. That car has had its string on of bad luck. Hope its repairable but that is hard to tell. It would suck to have to build a new shell.
Like another poster said. It appears the windsheild flew up on impact and the turbo scoop hit the windshield.
Good Luck to Norris and team.

I'm pretty sure that the winner of the pro import class is an 8second car because he ran low 9s but was constantly on the brakes.
When he raced procco evo he came out of the line smoking the tires in first an maybe partial second and then when he passed the evo at the end he hit the brakes pretty hard.

kelvin auto start was in effect. everyone should courtesy stage.
ie: if a competitor double bulbs before the next car can pre stage, the autostart will be in effect, and red light d'qing the other competitor. hope this helps.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think this is a new car! The one he had before, he ran 8.5's and it was the same set up. Just different cars!
Overall, we are super happy that everybody came out and supported the event. It was so much fun!!!

1. the track was doing exceptionally well throughout the weekend, but lots of oil downs from broken cars.
2. reynolds car was throughly cleaned before hand and was personally walked from the 1000 to the crash site for any parts or unsafe qualities in the track surface. i dont let anyone go down that track unless its 100% safe. orlandos staff feels the same way.
3. most vehicles that got out of shape were driving out of the groove. if you know how drag strips work, some have narrow grooves compared to others.

hey boyfriend beater! lol congrats on the win!
one more and you can crown yourself the s/t street sweeper for our season opener!
cotorres, i believe it is a competition eng peice. it broke in the common area which they are known for since its production. i think im gonna have to revise the rules on this part lol
from what i saw standing at the stripe, the lca broke causing reynolds to let off at the 1000 ft mark coasting it to the stripe. from the decel, the car was doing the mamba, and the right tire blew out shortly after crossing the finish, and going into the wall.
reynolds did an exceptional driving job. no one could have done better in that situation. as they say "as bad as it went, couldnt have went any better"

Have to agree with you. The problem was not with the track officials but mainly with the organiser.
The event was good mainly due to the racing/racer's part but for the organisers it was terrible.
It seems some people are still stuck in the 20th century. Most of the pro import cars were running in Q16(mainly due to outdated rules)and most of the cars in Pro Import were far from the norm. Imagine in Florida telling all the Pro Import racers their cars are not legit due to different motor makes for the chassis. That rules out 99% of the pro import cars/racers on the east coast!

if we had allowed a revision in pro and street classes to have hybrid motors from different mfg, what would that do for the sport?
you have to understand your personal adjenda does not do much for the growth of what this sport needs.
if i put this rule change into effect what makes anyone do a 4g63 with a gm hydromatic on a 74mm in a civic?
we have had modified for this reason but none of which class cars showed up.

Ouch competition?? Thats what happen to Joe Housley in the summer of 2006. He went upside down pass the traps.
