Blade's H2B Build
Hey everyone my names Cody and im 22 years old living on long island, NY. Im making this thread to show my progress on my H2B build. If you guys cant tell from pics I purchased Randy's shell (NAH2B) along with some of his other parts he had for sale. Having met randy at first i was intimidated being that he was known as the k-killer and holding the nations fasts h series record, but after talking with him for a hour or two he was really very humble and extremely knowledgeable with hondas and engine building, props to him for having upped the bar with h series and giving them k series a run for their money!. But back to my story so I purchased the car back in june and immediately had to show the car off and brought the car to bakerz meet held in queens, NY. After getting her home realized that the engine bay needed some restoration since the paint was chipping and looking dull. So being that i work at a body & mechanical shop i had all the resources to freshen her up. Sanded down all the spots where the paint was chipping with a DA and then primed the entire engine bay, i kno it wasnt necessary but im a perfectionist and wanted it all primed. I decided on the honda factory color nighthawk black pearl off a 2010 honda civic si with a little custom paint flake added into it, it really catches your eye in the sunlight.
For the engine aspect of my build im going to be running a fully built h2b
7/30/12 well now heres the graph everyone has been waiting for, Special thanks to Randy Owens aka Nah2b without him none of this would have been possible. Another thanks to Randy Schoener of Rs-tech very knowledgeable and knows his **** when it comes to tuning. Thanks also to my team Project-one theyve helped me out throughout the build as well.. felt good to finally drive the car after the year of building it.
Lets keep in mind this was in 90 degree heat and 70% humidity, well see the motors true power when i throw her back on the dyno in november in 40 degree weather and 0% humidity before WCF
UPDATE 12/29/11
Hey everyone a little update about 2 weeks ago i ordered my rods & bearings, pistons, thrust washers, and the header material for randy to begin fabricating it up. here are some pictures of the rods that came in today.
NOTHER UPDATE 1/8/12
Getting all my bottom end parts together for assembly
UPDATE 1/25/12: my clutch, rod bearings, and head gasket came in, also randy Nah2B had already fabricated a oil catch pan that i purchased from him that way i will be able to run at OGS event like honda day, fall nationals and etc. My axels should be in friday and i am still waiting for my pistons to come in, the company is about 2 weeks behind on all work orders so hopefully early february they'll be in.
Update 1/26/12: more oem parts came in. My clutch fork, pivot ball, throw out bearing, spring, pilot bearing, valve cover gasket set, and oil pickup screen came in.
Update 1/28/12: some more goodies came in courtesy of full throttle performance in queens, ny
Update 1/30/12: a few more goodies came in today some drive shaft shop axels and my burns collector.
Update 2/6/12: a few more parts came in over the weekend.
Update 2/10/12: Finally the missing piece of the puzzle has arrived courtesy of CP pistons, the quality and finish on these pistons are beyond amazing. Now its time to really start having some fun and have the motor assembled as everyone knows im trying to make it to honda day at atco so time is short.
A few more goodies also came in
painting the alternator bracket so its fresh as the block lol, it was gunked and nasty before heres a primered shot, getting painted monday.
And now for a sneak preview for a little concept of a new intake manifold me and Randy have came up with and are thinking about pursuing.

Re: Blade's H2B Build
Something fully built as you can tell from the parts.. Not fully disclosing all the specs just yet
Deff will keep this thread updated with pics and vids of it when she's running

Re: Blade's H2B Build
currently there is tokico blue struts with skunk 2 18k springs i believe
yeh strokes a hidden secret and to compete in the all motor class might as well go the 106mm crank to make the motor a 2.7L to compete with those 9 second k cars lol
