anyone know the rear gear ratio in a honda crv. reason being i have someone who wants to trade me a 5spd awd tranny and i dont want to have indepent rear suspension was gonna use one of my for 8.8s thanks in advance

 

the crv gear ratio is 2.55

 

thanks just dont wanna be dealing with broken cv joints all the time

 

use the wagon rear diff and have dss make you axles. personally i have not been able to break the OEM rear axles no matter how hard i launch. the front and rear split the load so its not that much stress. the CR-V axles and diff are much weaker. I broke a few CR-V transmissions though.
