AVID Proseries solid mount reveiw
Well after looking at all the solid mounts that are out there on the market 2 day I made the choice to go with avid. I will be the first to say the avids customer service is on the crappy side but Jeff and Joe from Tempest stayed on top of things with avid and there poor skills with customer service and shipment tracking. But the long wait was well worth it in my mind for these super strong solid mounts wich I would like to add are alot thincker in the mounting points than some of the others and have steel inserts, also they are not just a aluminum bushing pressed into a standard mount to make it solid mount, it might look that way from how they are machined but they are one peace and they include longer bolts because your stock ones are way to short for the thickness of these bad boys
Here is the mounts out of the box,

trans side mount installed

drivers side installed

and I figured I would take some pics of the all new setup for the 08 season

Yes , as there would be with any solid mount , but when you make alot of power and want it all to transfer to your wheels this is the way to go , absolutely zero engine movement
