I just finished this yesterday this i my replacement header because i outgrew my hi-tech so i decided to make my own.. i dynoed it yesterday with great results.... tell me what you guys think...

the header looks smaller then the hy-tech becuase it is behind it but it acctually bigger...

Looks nice. How well did it perform against your old hitech header?

I see some SVP cars back there... How is DNRs shop coming along. Haven't been in the bay area for a while.

I dyno tested them at DNR on one of their b20 motors... i tested against my old hi-tech header it make 2.5-3.5 hp all across the powerband.... im not discrediting john at hi-tech or anything but my header simply gain by just flat out being bigger... more fit for a big motor

Yeah they are big primary.. its a 3 step header 1 3/4 -1 7/8- 2in to a 2 5/8 12degree collector...straight pipe is 2 5/8-3"

I would love to make someone a header if i was given an oppurtunity.

Nice Job!!!

Hey if you need any SS bends, Flanges, Merge Collectors/Transitions, etc
Give us a call, we would be happy to help out.
We have a mandrel bender and could bend to your specs.

Keep up the good work!!!

This header is a one-off becuase i designed this header specificly for my own car. I will be making another version of this header soon and hopefully that one will be in production... im just a small guy trying to introduce myself to the industry.

OT but are you interested in selling that header(hytech). and is there any possible way i can make it curve towards the back like a stock header would. i am in need of a bigger header. so i am just browsing.

all of the bends are designed on the hytech for side exit. it would be easier and cheaper to just buy a new hytech header

to the original poster, do you guys have a parternship with DSR?
any new dyno charts getting posted up..?

Thanks for you input.... are u sure it easier for me to buy another hy-tech. The last time i check it was $1300. Thats a pretty price tag, i think this header is totally different from a hytech. if you notice this header pulls in front of the radiator not like johns. yeah i have a partnership with DSR they are resellers for some of my products. we are woking on the dyno chart as we speak just need to test it on another unbais source.

Would you want to produce and sell another for a B20/VTEC EH2 w/ side exit?

judging from the pic. you would have to take off the tubes on the flange. rotate them so that they come down instead of to the right. then extend the tubing more so that the tubes lay under the oil pan.

you will also have to reshape each pipe so that they are all similar or the same in overall shape

@ 85 an hour for a good welder, that is at least 4-6 hours worth of work. i doubt it would still be as nice if john made it like it comes new from him

you should be able to sell the side exit for at least 1k. it will cost more than 300 bucks to modify that header.

you can IM about getting dyno time at a spot other than dsr. i have connections with a new dyno in san ramon, its a dynojet like dsr's

Have tried steeper angle for the collector? If you haven't I think you should.Do you think your's made more power than hytech's strictly because bigger primaries or combo with your collector?Headers looks very nice BTW
