Default Another almost 10 second prelude

Well I finally got to the track again and got just about as close as you can to breaking into the 10's

r/t .127
60' 1.783
330' 4.895
1/8 7.337
mph 102.84
1000' 9.355
1/4 11.010
mph 139.27

I did bounce the rev limit in 4th just before the finish but still not to shabby for a 3000 lb pig.

as for the setup....
h22 built
gt40R
1600 cc's
areomotive pump, fpr
str rail
full-race topmount
GE IM
24.5x8.5 M&H
and some other stuff...

I big to Joe @ Tempest, it's been a long time coming but this car will hit 10.XX soon.

Get in the 1.6's and you got your 10 second pass.

the only stuff I took out are the a/c, cruise, spare, and jack still has everything else, I've put more weight on with the aftermarket parts than I've taken off oh yeah this was also only the 7th run on the setup more seat time should get it into the 10's

It'll be more motivating for him to get the car up.

Nice times! Do you drive it on the street? Or is it strictly a track car?

has 10's written all over it. Nice to see something different ripping up the track. I think you might need bigger tires though. Are u running 15" rim? And what kinda axles are you running as well?

It is 100% street legal and sometimes driven on the street.
The slicks are on a 15" rim and the axles are DSS stage 3.

wow very nice... knocking on the 10's door... you are flying through the traps.

I guess I did not realize how much the extra weight of the heavier car would affect a car on the strip... I mean I know it would but it did alot more than I had figured.
