i am now on my second cdi, the first wouldent let me rev past 8k.
now the second does perty the same but more so the tach output doesnt even work.
has any1 else had problems with this product. i am going to try & trade this in for a msd6 figure they are a little more reliable. just dont know what else 2 do.
if your wondering we have played with the dwel setting a little but no results.
aslo when u put the looper in it will rev right up perfectly
any opinions are welcome

alot of people had alot of problems with the original cdi box. I know that the newer AEM Twinfire box is alot better. You should be able to talk to AEM and see if they'll fix the cdi or maybe upgrade you to the twinfire. The msd boxes are horrible, and everyone knows they burn out quickly. If all else fails you could check with tony1, I know he sells the M&W boxes

Most of the cars I've dealt with or seen are running individual coils, either CBR's or MSD SS. We also run the AEM EMS box and no distributors...so I'm not too fimiliar with anything else. I would definatly give AEM a call again, or try to find someone in the area that has used the box, and see if they can help trouble shoot it.

Just talk to tony1, get the cam trigger kit of his, its easy to install, and just follow the how to on either his webpage or on aem's page. Should help out bigtime
But you'll end up having to either use the dizzy to distribute spark or run individual coils.
