Adjusting E.T. for sea level elevation.....
I have a question.
Is there a calculation u can do to find out what a car will run at "sea level" or close to it?
Commerce, GA (atlanta dragway) is 1000ft. above sea level, its the 2nd highest track in the country besides denver. I ran 13.9@101 there at commerce, is there a way i can do a calculation to find out what i would run if i was at sea level?
thanks

Who told you it was the 2nd highest track in the US? Track here is 2700'. There are others as well. The NHRA doesn't recognize elevation adjustment until over 1000'. Go here. http://www.nhra.com/tech_specs/altitude.html or here http://members.***.net/bobcosb....html
2nd highest in the country??? LOL, thats hella funny. 1000ft isnt goin to mean ****.
now if u were at 4000ft and went to 5000ft that would mean a bit more cause ur already starving ur motor of oxygen. dont sweat the elevation factor cause ur only running high 13s anyways.
o yeah, i can think of 2 out of the 3 tracks that i know of here in washington that are above 1000ft.
