Default 1st time at the track..

92 si hatch..20 inch hoosier slicks(don't kno exact size)..ls/vtec turbo at 10psi launching at 5800 all 3 times and spinning tires 1st - 3rd gear..This was my first time ever driving at the track so i wasn't too disappointed but I felt that the car could have done better with a more experienced driver..

1st run-

r/t - .353
60' - 2.581
1/8 - 9.628
1/4 - 14.253
mph - 107.31

2nd run-

r/t - .197
60'- 2.275
1/8 - 9.282
1/4 - 14.010
mph - 104.33

3rd run-

r/t - .202
60' - 2.467
1/8 - 9.341
1/4 - 13.952
mph - 103.75

any suggestions? besides the fact that I need bigger slicks and more practice..

I don't have any suggestions (cause' you already know you need bigger slicks and seat time) but, that 107 trap is good for low 12's. Keep practicing it'll get there. Good luck.

Phil

P.S. I'd recommend 22x8 slicks

I lowered the tire pressure to 12 and i have ground control coilovers with kyb agx shocks, all 4 shocks were set at level 3 because I didn't know what to set them at for the track..and i have z10 traction bars..

did u preload? with some work, you'd be in the low 13, high 12s in no time. Bigger slicks wouldnt hurt either

although you suck at driving and at life. You should either get your car dyno-tuned and see what #'s you laying down because your trap speed are really low.

And i did help him, his set-up should be making more powa, therefore even if its on street tires and with his bad driving skills his trap speed should be atleast a lil bit higher.

You need to pratice launching because your 60 foot times are really bad. You can drop alot of your time by dropping your 60 foot times. Even with the tires you have on the car now.
