1600lbs car and 300whp is it enough for 10's

were currently transfering a 300whp motor on a half tube eg. is it possible to run high 10's on slicks?

thanks guys for the quick info. the cars best run was an 11.8 on a stock na type r were trying up a new turbo engine combo just for kicks
