run open header
u actaully need more then just slicks to hit 12s on a bone stock type r motor. you dont have enough work to hit 12s yet. we had a bone stock jdm b18c spec R in a 92 vx and ran cut out doors fully gutted with a good driver and he ran a 12.8 at sacramento raceway back in 1998. the doors gave him almost 3 tenths so with stock doors he would be at 13.1 maybe a 13.0 if he were lucky. uncorking your exhaust form the header does help. you gain everywhere as far as 1/4 is concerned. you do loose bottom end but you will never see that when using slicks. jsut my 2 cents.
