That's fine, i'm not breaking my neck to prove a point to you. Tons of people have seen my runs, I have timeslips, even NOPI has my times listed on their site from St.Louis. Even if I had a video you would doubt something else, i'm not wasting my time

Hey Matt i got your back!!!!You and I know what these turboed up hatches can do....ls,b16,gsr, greddy, drag rev hard, whatever right....Good driving and slicks is all it takes.....The only thing I have a hard time believing about your set-up is the stock clutch...I honestly cant believe that is a stock clutch holding up to slicks, and all that boosted power...Someone over in the japan land may have swapped it out for a better one at some time before you got the swap.....

Ill vouch on it. Saw the car when it was amazing on the motor, and now with it this fast with boost, it doesnt surprize me at all. He seems to have gotten a "fresh" motor.

Hopefully, Matt will throw some new videos up very soon, with a little more detail!

Yup ...Gettin gangsta with the el cheapo engines.....Its unbelievable how cheap these thing go for....I will push one of these bastards even farther than my old ls set-up and not give a rats *** if a rod comes flying out of the block!!!hahaha

Also, what do u think of my 2-step idea...It envolves a highly sophisticated method of bouncing of the rev limiter to build boost...I like to call it, well, bouncing off the rev limiter to build boost....

Here is a 1/8th mile vid on a 90 degree day at 9psi. Only .2 off my 1/8th mile time when I run 11's.

well, i am very active on homemadeturbo.com and made a thread on there about this run.
http://www.homemadeturbo.com/f...ard=1
some say yes, some say no.
i watched your video, and you say its 1/8 mile. well i paused it right when you launched, and there was about 12 seconds left on the film. then i paused it again when the lights lit up(you finished) and there was 1 second left. so you made about a 11 second 1/8 mile pass. -this would be about right for a 10psi hatch on slicks.

a stock B16 with no mods and just 10psi, and slicks. its a rare occourance around here for someone to run that in under 12sec.

thats why im in disbelief.

Your right, you caught me. I had the announcer say 7.8 and put the time up on the board to fool you. That was after I made up threads the past 2 years showing the times my car pulled with posted timeslips, videos, and countless people who have seen the runs slowly improving to where I am now.

Just for you another video taken at the first part of the season this year. This run was at 8psi and got me a 12.3 which is almost exactly what I ran at 8psi this last time.

Also slicks on stock CV joints ? And running times like that ? I would think atleast your cv joints would break or stock clutch would go out. I also find this hard to believe. I would have to see a video or a legit time slip to make me a believer.

junkyard racer or whatever your name is shut the hell up and go home. You're a complete moron and you're wasting bandwidth. I was there when he hit 11s at NOPI with 10psi and friends of mine were there Saturday when he did it again, although in much hotter/humid circumstances. What is so hard to believe? He makes 240whp. His car weighs 2200lbs with driver. Do the math! Matt is a hell of a driver and has done his homework and his car is very light. Light cars WILL NOT break as many parts as heavy cars-it is simple physics. Sounds like most of the people on homemadeturbo.com are morons too.

Sorry, you don't believe him, but coming on here and making ridiculously idiotic posts about how you don't believe a video or information from NOPI's websites or eye witness accounts just makes you look even dumber.

GO AWAY!

BTW Congrats Matt!

Steve K.

I can name 4 locals, all on this board, running 8.2 or under, all on 22s with stock axles
