its awesome to see all your hard work paying off randy. pretty cool the car reached your "goal" on the first full pass. ive really enjoyed being involved with your cars over the years, they always put up a number.
now its time to find a little more power!

You do Joe? Alot of people seem to like it. I think it would be equally as promising to keep up with people all year long.

What exactly would the "haters" be apologizing for ?
I dont recall anyone saying Randy wouldn't go fast.
Maybe you haven't read the previous threads very thoroughly or maybe you just dont know Randy that well, but I think he can take care of himself when it comes to arguing with nay-sayers online lol . .

I need to clear up something.... I know Jersey boys and Randy are good friends. When i said "haters" I was refering to the thread from Andre(AHracing) thread. One of the post was about...If Randy want to be competive, he needs to wake up and built a K. There were alot of **** going on in that thread.......

Nice job Randy. Does this mean we don't have to hear anymore stuff about the K series being far superior? Inch for inch, it can be real close

Brad and i have been saying for a long time the H is just as capable as the K.
and keep in mind this is just a 100mm stroke motor, just imagine a 106 stroke
the only advantages i feel the k has are the obvious forward facing intake ports and the fact that the head can flow a little better. other than that there are no advantages that cant be worked into an H imo and i definately wouldnt trade my B trans for a K trans EVER haha

Not all the K heads are equal, and the H is better than what some guys are using. Inch for inch, dimension for dimension, they can be close. Things that don't work quite as well can be move with a little $.

looking at the project i had a few questions, have you thought about blocking off your front end at all and what about a belly pan of some sort, not sure if the later is legal but could def help reduce your coefficient of drag.
Also does anyone knife edge cranks anymore? i know i have seen many say that it great reduces the cranks structural integrity, just curios from looking at your bc crank that thing looks hefty!
great job man good to see the east coast set a standard

as for the belly pan, i will be makiing a very nice catchpan for the shootout but i dont want to cover the entire undercarriage if thats what you mean.
people do still knife edge cranks but i chose not to.
