Before/After Pics on All Types of Vehicles
We all love the work done by Eric/TruShine...and he's at the very top of the detailing profession.
With that said, there are many different levels of correction and most types of paint can benefit from some level of correction. I thought this thread could be bumped whenever someone corrects paint on any type of vehicle...whether it be an exotic or a more common daily driver.
I recently acquired two Toyota Tacoma's and both had paint that needed attention.
This is a 97 Tacoma w/ Factory Paint. As a rule the Japanese use softer clear coats. After 14 years the truck's clear coat needed some attention.
A quick pass with meguiars m205 and a Yellow Lake Country Pad yielded this after a few minutes. Obviously its not a complete correction, but its enough to make a noticeable difference and well worth the time spent.
Also, from a couple of months ago. My daily driver when I picked it up.
And after a few hours polishing the clear coat with Meguiars M105/m205 along with a variety of foam pads.
And after using Blackfire Sealant and a basic wax from detail king. (budget wax that works pretty well for basic jobs)

Re: Before/After Pics on All Types of Vehicles
A quick before/after on a 69 Chevelle SS I just did.
Pictures are after meguiar's m205 w/ porter cable 7464 and a green lake country pad.
The paint was pretty soft but I wanted to highlight how even a mild pad/compound setup can yield significant results on some types of paint.
Owner wasn't interested in total correction, as he drives it sometimes.
Lighting inside building was making it difficult to take pics...usually I get better results
Before
After a few passes. More passes were made but the results were noticeable immediately.
Front racing stripe
After, Blackfire sealant. Tomorrow I'll be back to apply a wax made by Blackfire.
Maybe I'll pull it out for some better pictures too.
Its a numbers matching chevelle ss....
