Default testing to see availability of T3

I'm gonna be turboing my d16 next month and plan on using either an 18G or a .42/.48 straight T3. I'd prefer the T3 because then I wouldn't have to convert from internal to external w.g. with the 18G.

So my question is, are externally gated T3's readily available in used condition? If I was to post a WTB right now, would anyone have any to sell?

what do you think the spool would be like on a d16 with the 60/48?

This is what I have:



The one on the far right is a T3 60/63 with 60 trim compressor and stage 1 turbine, oil cooled with a TINY bit of shaft play, but I guess this is normal as once there is oil pressure the play is nixed. It cant have much for mileage on it. Im not sure if i wanna sell this one or keep it for a backup.

The one in the middle is a T3 60/63. This one would be sold with a 100% new center cartridge, in your choice of oil or oil & water cooled. I would prolly be asking something like 280 + shipping, but im not sure as I havent compared prices

it all depens on teh manifold used, but if i had to make a shot in the dark from the hip with one hand tied aroun my back and spun into a dizzy state of delirium, id say somewhere around 2-3K??
