Possibly scammed by Civicdrgrcr aka Johnathon Elias
Here is the situation. Around 6 weeks ago Civicdrgrcr posted this thread:
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=392044. He was selling a Greddy profec b boost controller and remote button for 320.00 shipped. I Pm'd him about it, he told me it was still for sale. He mentioned that there was another honda-tech.com member that was interested, and who ever sent him the money first would get the boost controller. I agreed that i would purchase the boost controller, then he told me because there were three other people interested in it the price was now 330.00 shipped. I didnt like his price increase, but i agreed to it since it was a really good deal. He told me i needed to send him payment in the form of a money order, and overnight the money order to him. I agree. The next day I overnighted him the money via usps.
Week 1:
He didnt respond back to me for a few days, which worried me after getting the money. He finally responded to my PM's i sent him, telling me that the boost controller was going to be shipped asap. I assumed it was shipped, so i waited.
Week 2:
It was now the following thursday, and no boost controller. I PM'd him numerous times, no response. I emailed him, no response.
Week 3:
He responds to my email, and apoligizes for not sending the boost controller when he already told me it was shipped two weeks prior. Here was my email to him:

I am writing you this email as a final attempt to find out what is going
on with the boost controller. I am going to give you the benefit of the
doubt and assume that you haven't gotten my numerous PM's on honda-tech.com
requesting that you give me a tracking number for the boost controller
which i bought from you. It now has been over 2 weeks since i over
nighted you the money order for the boost controller, yet i still have not
received it. I expected sending you the money order overnight you were going to
take speedy action and ship the controller out to me asap. Ground
shipping from washingtion, D.C to easton, pa should take approx. 2-3 days. I am
giving you one last chance to respond to me via email, before i take this
to honda-tech. I feel that you are avoiding my messages, and i would like
for you let me know what is going on with this situation.
Thanks, Jeff Evans
His response:
I am so sorry for not responding. I have been sick as ****. Str8 It will
be going out tomorrow. Please give me your shipping info. I am not avoiding you.
I decide to give him another week.
Week 4:
Wait on the boost controller, nothing shows up at my door. I called the number he supplied numerous times, no answer. I decided to give him another week.
Week 5:
This is week 5. John, you have had my money for 5 weeks now. Promised that you were going to send the products, which you didnt. I called, no answer. I dont understand what is going on but i would like an explanation. If no action is taken within two weeks, I am driving down to DC and taking you to small claims court. Here is your chance to make things right. I didnt want to have to bring this to honda-tech.com, but by no responding I have no choice.
Here is my reciept from the money order, and the reciept of the overnight shipping slip from usps:

Re: Possibly scammed by Civicdrgrcr aka Johnathon Elias (boosted hybrid)
yeah that kid is flakey as ****. i know a lot of people will vouch for him, but it seems every time he sells things, someone has a problem. my friend ordered something from him, and he was extremely slow about it, and had very very poor communication throughout the transaction.
for some reason I'm on his list of people that vouch for him, even though we had a sour deal. but my friend did get the item eventually, i think about a month later.
chances are, it's just sitting in his room/garage and he's forgotten...

His business ethic is total crap. When i sell something and get the money from the seller, the item goes out the very next day with a tracking number. I am in correspodence with the buyer every step of the way. That is the only way i conduct business. I am hoping that this will get his *** into gear and sent me the damn boost controller.
I hear he owes viren some money on a block he purchased from him.

yep. that kid sucks. he'll probably come online and make a reply with "blablabla it's your fault, i told you this and that, it's not my fault my crx racecar was pink and ugly, blablabla" or something to that extent. that's a shitty price for a 2nd hand profec B too. shame on that guy.

Actually it was brand new, and came with the remote button which is a 130+ dollar option. Its the only reason i bought it from him. I know better than to pay new prices for used stuff. That is a pretty funny comment about his crx though...I never understood the pink stuff on it.

i think he was making a statement of his sexuali... nevermind. off-topic.
haha you guys and your lazy boost button. "look at me, i can't reach down just a bit to hit the select button." hehe just kidding... (i know, low boost launches, blablabla. and hiding the unit in the glovebox or something, it's just a funny thought)
but good luck on getting this dealt with.

i have read so many complaints about this guy and thats why i never ordered anything from him. the weird thing is he ALWAYS has turbo's for sale. like once every other month, he'll post up a t4 turbo for sale. the next time, he will have a 60-1 for sale. and i always hear complaints..yet, he has his little friends who probably signed up on h-t just to vouch for him. he has a list of people who will vouch for him in his sig. i kinda wish he had a list of people who WOULD NOT vouch for him in his sig too.
but yeah, last explanation i read from him was "ive matured. i dont do stupid stuff no more and my word is good..blah blah"
i hope u get your stuff man. sucks being scammed or given the run-around.

The difference between this guy and you is that you keep in contact with me. He just seems to have disappeared on me. I am sure i will see him at east coast drag events. What comes around goes around...

he's more then shady. friend bought his sfp manifold and wastegate. he sends the money and he's already sold the wastegate.
and guess what, month and half later and my friend still hasn't received his refund for the wastegate.
totally shady seller/person. don't ever deal with this guy. my friend didn't receive his manifold as promised within a week and he emailed cursing him out telling him to chill the **** out. hate wanna be thugs like this. this kid deserves a good beating.
people like this ruin it for sellers such as myself and others that are totally legit and try to go that extra step.

Re: Possibly scammed by Civicdrgrcr aka Johnathon Elias (bgod)
It's shady cause the guy's like 16 years old and always has tons of things for sale.
I remember one time he was selling this CRX shelll, but with NO PAPERWORK.

Like everyone is saying...yeah that kid is shady. I got some pistons from him and he didn't tell the truth about the compression. Now I can't resell the damn things cuz no one wants that high of a compression..(see pistons in my sig).
Good luck to everyone trying to get stuff from him.

Jeff like I said in the other thread. If you want I will contact some people down there to pay him a visit. Also if he owes other people on this board money. I am sure my "friends" will be glad to help. Let me know. I will get the ball rolling on this guy. Also one of my friends is a skip tracer (he gets paid to find people) So if this guys flakes and does not send it I will get him found for you.

I am still waiting on my b16 arp headstuds from him. Its been over a month. I figured such a small item would not be a problem for him, I have yet to receive them from him. I sent him an $85 Postal MO. If anyone can help, let me know.
