code 5 with boost >>>
every once and a while i get a code 5 cel.
MAP Sensor (Manifold Absolute Pressure)
mechanical problem / disconnected piping.
piping to map is hooked up correct and not leaking. does this mean my map is bad.
how does the ecu determine that it's a mechanical problem. from a invallid reading or somthing..??
platinum.

check all your vacuum connections, i got the same code, i checked all the vacuums again and none were loose but the code went away after i unplugged them and plugged them back in.
try cleaning your map sensor also, might be the connector is dirty and gives a faulty reading sometime. i know mine was dirty as hell when i was getting that code.
