Starting problem.
Here is the low down. '87 Honda civic 1.5, NOT fuel injected. Nothing fancy. 4 months ago I changed the head gasket cause it had failed. Broke the carb a little putting it back together, but it still worked with some careful driving. It ran for 6 days. Then the water pump failed. Becuase of a wedding and other prioritys it sat for 4 months. Finaly replaced the water pump (turns out it's shaft was bent, scary). Put everything back together. Battery came up toast, replaced it.
Now it turns over, but wont start. It has (old) gas in the tank, there is gas getting to the cylinders. There is spark on at least 3 of the plugs. The timing is dead on according to the pully and crank shaft wheel. And the conpression is acceptable. Yet, not even a chug when turning over. Anyone have any ideas? How likely is it that I fried the Coil?
