Seeing if anyone has done a B16A into the 84-87 4dr Civic's before?
Well currently my shop's putting the B16A OBD0 into my 84 civic sedan and we keep on running into set back after set back...had to order new hubs from a 86-89 integ to get the Hasport axles to fit; now it's figuring out the wire harness and later on the fuel pump because it's going from carb motor to fuel injected. Please share your experience and information if any of you guys have done this swap before, thanks!

I considered it for my 86, but the cost of the mounts and the thought of the carb/FI changeover turned me away.

unfortunately it's a little too late for me now because my dad's the one who blew the motor in the first place. So I just decided to upgrade my 84 civic a little bit...already got the B16 sitting in the engine bay just waiting for the final touches

hope i don't sound like an ***, but these are all common issues and steps you have to overcome for that swap in that chassis. should've been ready

place an inline pump after the fuel filter at the rear of the car, and cut the banjo ojj the end of a stock fuel line from the b16 and hose clamp it, same with the return.
wiring, i just swapped over all the cluster dash and lighting plugs and used a 90-91 integra wiring harness. fuse box, cluster, and all other misc ****.
any other questions?

Re: (1g)
Thanks bro appreciate it...just picked up a 90 CRX HF dash harness and will be tackling the fuel system issue next. Hopefully I can post pics up once the swap is finished!
