Need Help! 1984 Civic Wagon
My 1984 Honda Civic Wagon won't stay running. Will start if I pump the gas a few times but will idle at 2000 RPMs and dies out. Changed the secondary fuel filter so far. Bought a new primary fuel filter but haven't put it in. Any other ideas on what it could be?

First morning start, worse on cold days? The carburetor gasket was known to warp and leak.... challenging on cold mornings, but as soon as the car warmed up... it was fine.
Otherwise, check the fuel level in the carb bowl, there is a window on the driver's side, you may be able to peek... but removing the air filter helps a lot. But it starts... so you have fuel... is the choke plate slightly opened.... you can jab a screwdriver to keep it opened...
