Default Need Advice for MY First Car

So, I have this 1986 Honda Civic Si. Everything on it is clean, I am the second owner, previous lady kept in in a garage for all these years. Everything is OEM.

However the cam is shot, and I've heard about not switching a new head on to an old block. Which leads me to this whole question. What would be the best engine to put into it? More hp/ but easy enough to just swap. lol

Any help is appreciated!

1g Integra D16/ZC is the best and cheapest engine upgrade you can do to these cars.

Just curious, but how do you know that the cam is shot?

Thanks for the info, I'll look into it.

I know the cam is shot because I took it to a mechanic near my house, who says the majority of his work is done on Hondas. So I can only take his word for it.
