My 1983 Honda odyssey(no not a minivan!)
Hi this is my 1983 honda odyssey I have restored, well in the process of restoring and upgrading.
So far I painted it and sorted out the wiring,
I installed a EEE racing cage
A 1973 CR250 top end bolted to the stock bottom end( I think the first popular honda head swap ) - ported and polished and bored 2mm over
DG performance watercooled head
Comet clutches
rebuilt the stock cr250 carb
A custom craft rev pipe
installed a 80watt stator and altered the stator to be able to adjust timing.
I modifies some cr80 shocks to fit the front, notice the trick remote reservoir
And installed a electric start. beats ripping your arm off trying to pull start a 160psi 250cc engine
I posted because I wondered if anyone else here remembers these or used to have one. In case anyone wonders it goes about 50mph and that is fast for something with NO rear suspension, enjoy!

it works well on anything really I can drive it pretty much anywhere my friends 4x4 quads go, they are amazed. All the weight is on the rear so good traction! Its the most fun in the snow, powerslides FTW. It has no diff its a straight locked axle so you basically have to powerslide it to turn it.

Re: My 1983 Honda odyssey(no not a minivan!)
I remember those early Odysseys. No rear suspension, 250cc motor, no electric start, etc.
The later model years added those features, plus a larger motor. Then they brought out the Pilot, and those things, in good condition, still command a serious premium.
I'd get that thing as stock as I could make it with Honda OEM parts. They are just going to keep climbing in price as you'll probably never see anything like them again.
