I will vouch that Mikes car is amazing. Seen it in person awhile ago downtown and I had to get him to stop so I can look at the thing. It's purely amazing and incredibly fast as well. Mike is a cool dude. Not very often, if at all, do you get to see an old school civic with a front mount poking out
Mike, if you remember you meet me down on State Ave. I was driving the blue 91 Civic hatch and we sat there for a good while bullshittin about our cars. I've got to see this thing again!!

hey its nice to see another cvcc with this swap.
give you a heads up with the axles they wont last with welding then trust me first hand.. but ill give ya a cheat for chrome axles for cheep. ok first dutchman in portland does splines for cheep each end i think was 25.00$ and the chrome shafts get from a comp. that makes hydraulics for cats theres a place in salem that has cheep 5240 chrome shafts that can be cut to your specs. each shaft was 30.00 $
stock axles with b16 turbo
and make track bars to stop wheel hop and torque steer with that B its ganna need it

umm,
ok.
almost 2 yrs since update. lol.
She's been through a lot of work after I got her on the road.
yeeeeah... those axles were problematic. lol. Having some zoot ones made as I type this. Hopefully they will hold up, but I don't pound on her too hard, chassis just wasn't quite designed for these power levels.

thanks for the info on the axle setup. I've got new axle setup going in now, they should be HD enough. (hope)
I milled some poly bushings for the oem sway/track bar. OMG what a difference that made. Car was 1000% more stable afterwords.
...apparently I don't have any pics of that tho...
88-91 CRX front LCA bushings work for the 1980 front LCA inner bushings (drop in replacement)
I used the same bushings to mill the upgrades for the crappy sway bar too.
oh yeah. the addco sway bar is an absolute must as well.

you can see a little more of the piping.
here I was completely redoing the downpipe, with full block bracing just like factory. will try to get some detail pics.
here I found and fit an 1st gen CRX lip. fits perffect. just needs a little trim at the wheel arches.
you can see the finished lip in the earlier post.
