You can try retightening the other bolts to their original specification, and start loosening with this bolt first instead. It should get some torque load off the stubborn bolt.

Which bolt is it btw? I had a stubborn middle one in the lower row. It did have some weird paste in the threads but I got it off with some metal brushing.

probably oil coated crud keeping it "locked in" like thread lock.. it's going to be a pain. i don't know what else to tell you other than torch.

Aaaaack sorry, can you remove the head now? How much stub is left?

A little torch usually loosen things up.... or a little spray of bp blaster from your local parts store (or a 50/50 mix of acetone/ATF) sometimes tightening it a bit will help loosen crud.

Now you can weld a nut on top of the stud.... apply the mixture stated above and repeat.... a long breaker bar can help.... wise grip could do the trick.

The other product that worked well is "freeze off" from CRC at your local parts store. Spray and respray, let it sit for an hour or a day.
