Default d16y7 in 87 CRX

will a 87 crx pass smog with a d16y7??another question, if the tag is expire since 2004, will i still have to pay for all the other tags to get my 2008 tag??

Dunno abou smog question but for your tags: YES in CA you do atleast. I had same situation, my 85 had 03 tags and had to pay for 3years in 2006 when i got it

No it wont pass smog unless you did an OBD-2 conversion & got it BAR'd so :when you transfer a car into someone elses name,either selling or giving, the late fees are dropped but the original fee will always have to be paid. When your given a car a transfer fee, and the tax on the value of the car has to be paid,along with delinquent registration fees, but no late fees.
