CRX first gen
I bought this MK1. I also have an second gen CRX and a 94 Civic hatch.

This will be a new project for the next couple of months.
Bought the first gen today. He drove it over here and was at my place at 09.00. I had some plans for today and he didn't mind so.. :D. After I drove him home and covered the paperwork I made a trip to Belgium, a Honda dealer had a brand new front windshield molding, inner and outer 8) , he also had a brand new H front emblem so grabbed that with me as well. Then had to pick up some parts for the EG as well.
So I got back home around 14.00. Had to eat something first  . Then it was time to check out the CRX. First things first, cleaning up the mess. It looks pretty good on the pictures compared to the real thing:
Also noticed a huge pile of water. I wanted to remove the bottom part of the rear seat, but because it is freezing now that part was frozen to the body  . So turned on the heater in the garage and started cleaning the rest so the seat could melt . I hope to water was coming in because of the fact those drains from the sunroof where not in those little tube thingies in the back. Somehow they where to short to reach it, so made them longer using some other hoses and hope that is solved.
It is pretty much cleaned up so far. But it was to late to get a decent picture. So that will be the update for tomorrow I guess.
Interior looks better now.
New OEM windshield moldings
This is where the seatbelt should be mounted when it isn't rusted
Behind the passenger seat
A bit of rust here.
Almost ready to drive it the Flintstones way.
But on a good note, not so much rust here. Which is a good surprise.
This has been fixed before, but not much, so still in pretty ok condidtion. Minimal work needed here as it seems

Another part of the list. Found the rear H emblem in Switzerland. Let's see where we can find the other parts on my list . Still want the sunroof seal and the quarter glass moldings/seals. And a new OEM shift ****.
Sunroof seal holders. Found these faster then the ones for the ED9.
Rear Civic emblem
And the front H emblem

Re: CRX first gen
Yesterday I went to pick up some parts, fenders, sideskirts, quarter windows, gauge cluster, door caps.
He also had a clean air filter panel laying around. So took that with me as well, since it had no box I figured I'd see what was in the air box today.
This is what I found:
Some minor rust here. Took the fender of to put on a black one and that being an OEM one.
Some white paint here, but nothing to serious. So all in all pretty good actually.
And with the black fender in place.

Re: CRX first gen
Nice find. Nice to be able to find OEM parts. They are getting hard to find for these cars now.
I'd love to get my hands on a set of EDM headlights. *wink-wink

Re: CRX first gen
Well, that's a nice find since the interiors are good, u need to waste time only on the exteriors. Looking for the parts of such a car would not be very easy.

Re: CRX first gen
Thanks, yeah I believe to think so, just needs some welding. But other than that still good. Checked the suspension bushings this weekend, and even they are in ok condition, will change them, but it isn't needed
Not easy, but it can be done, next post

Passenger side:
Rear drivers side:
Passenger side:
That is about it for the rust on the rear end. Doesn't look to bad to me.
Received another piece today. Brand new OEM front bumper.
Received some optional rear speaker covers with brackets, thanks to badmagik here on the forum :-)b
