i know that usdm and jdm have different chassi codes for the same body style, i'm trying to find out what the jdm chassi code is for a 2nd gen civic 2 door hatch 1982

 

1300 is an E-SL
1500 is an E-SR

generally with the older cars, they are the same. like my hatch is an 86 1.5 liter and the code is technically E-AH. same thing for a 1.5 liter hatch in japan. it's in the VIN.

 

I just got my black housing and corners in and they have Ah written on them.

 

the black housing headlights have nothing to do with them being on an AT. they were on all 86-87 JDM/EDM hatches, so it's very common for them to have AH on them too. are they EDM? if so, then they definately came from a 1.5 car as europe did not get a 1.6 civic. they only got 1.6 CRX's. considering you mentioned black corners, you definately got EDM parts because JDM cars have standard corners with a "bump" in the orange part. europe got the smoked gray ones. i like the gray ones better.

 

They are edm headlights and jdm corners smoked amber with the bump but i am looking for a set of edm corners to switch it up let me no if you no of a set..

 

both probably came off a 1.5..

actually 3gcvc lives in NZ so you prolly wouldn't contact him for EDM shizz
