hey im bout to buy an 87 crx and i was just lookin over some parts. im pretty set on buyin it just gotta get taxes back. anyways i was wondering what body parts can be put onto this car from the 88+ years such as front end conversion? or carbon hoods? (cant find any parts sites) and also if im ordering suspension components will the 88s work? cuz its only one year off
oh and i heard that the only engines that will fit this rex is a d series? i mean im cool with rockin a zc when i gets the moneys just wonderin what else there is that i can swap other than a mini me
thanks i know its not "oldschool" but the guys in the rex forums decided to blow me off.

Indeed, nothing will fit from an 88. The 1st gen has an axle rear and you can do the threaded inserts and then upgrade the springs and shocks. The front struts can also be upgraded, but remember that there are no springs in the front, they're torsion bars.

You'll possibly find this stuff used on redpepper. My racecar is sold, so everything is pretty much gone, but I believe the buyer is going to do something else for rear springs (they're 500#/in)....not sure.
