Here she is...

She sat in my parents garage for 2 years, and then was moved outside for another 2 years. Only has 150k original miles and I've waited long enough to start driving her. Gas is getting up there now so I'll park the STi for the daily driving and drive this if I get her running again.

As you can guess the fuel and oil as just as old. Oil isn't a problem but I know the fuel will be an issue.

Will just draining the tank and refilling it be enough or will I need to clean the tank? Hopefully the old fuel hasn't damaged anything in the fuel lines. She ran great when she was parked and forgotten.

I figured with new oil, belts, lines and fuel she should be good to go.

It sounds like you know what to check and replace. I would also throw in a new timing belt and water pump, "just to be safe." I do not know how much fun it will be to drive after parking your STi.

That old Civic looks clean, I hope you preserve it as a survivor.

The 240 is in between things right now so that won't be driveable until at least spring, so this is my only other option.

Best way to remove the old fuel is to just use a cut garden hose and start sucking? :D

If there is no drain plug, you can remove the fuel line and let it drain from there.

i have an 82 civic that sat for a while. i had rust in the gas tank and carb. like rust chips in the gas tank. I would suggest draining the old gas, if its orange you gotta problem. you'll probably have to get a new tank. and you might have to rebuild the carb. also change oil, fluids, sparkplugs, timing belt, water pump ect... to drain the gas theres a drain on the actual tank.

Check you gas as stated, but I also pull the spark plugs, after the oil change, squirt a bit of oil into each cylinder, then turn the engine over with the plugs out until you get the oil pressure light to come off, replace plugs and then try to get it to start. I t just makes sure you have oil where you need it, when you need it.
